The local Volkswagen club had a Trek Tricycle that they race against
another
Volkswagen club at a show that takes place in Sylvan lake. Both clubs were
supplied with the same tricycle. We put our heads together with the club
to
come up with a modified "racing" tricycle! Features a widened rear
axle
(using Mexican Beetle bumper brackets) thanks to Concept-1 , lowered,
cambered wheels (like pre '67 Beetles),
exhaust tips from a Beetle, banana seat, sissy bar, apehangers, grips,
mirrors,
anthracite powdercoated frame (thanks to Calgary Powdercoating) , pedals,
and
a fakie NOS bottle. Turned out pretty good for a one night project!!
And was a ton of fun to ride.
